(14/08/09) - Site Changes and Known Issues.
|
I am changing a few things around on the Games-Coffer. All games will have information and configuration details, along with screenshots. This has almost been completed as you may have noticed the majority of games now have an "Info" option.
The site has a few known issues, which will be repaired soon. They are as follows:
- Broken Games (CRC Errors) they are: 3D Games, Great Games #5, Great Games #10, Monkey Catcher, Mortal Kumquat, Pillmania, Pole 2 Pole, Pumping Dude, Quadrix, Raid 2: Mission X, Rubber, Robs Games #8 (Read/Write error), Teeny Weenies, Tennis (Crossed over with Tennis Champs). These will be fixed soon, although some games I have to chase up as I cant find them at the moment.
- "Invisible" Game/Demo being counted. For example the Games index has actually got 555 games but is listing 556 games.
- "..Go Back" option on download file screen doesnt work at all well in Firefox so it seems.
All the above will be corrected as soon as I can get around to it. Look forward to more updates soon and another Competition!

(26/03/09) - Microids Permission and On Going Work.
|
Firstly I would like to start with some great news, that Microids have given me permission to add their titles to GC. Thank you to Roch at http://www.microids.com. The titles will be added within the next few updates.
I am still working on lots of background issues on GC. My main focus at the moment is to get information up for each and every game. When I say information, I mean configurations to make the game work, and also various screenshots of that game to give you an in-sight into what it is like. This is very time consuming as I have to play and screenshot each and every game.

Today I have added an Amiga Diskmag section, on this you will find various diskmags that were released back in the day. Some of you might be wondering what a diskmag is, well a diskmag is a collection of articles put together on a disk that generally discuss various things that was going on in the day.
